DL2100 Firmware update

Hi, have just picked up one of these units to look after some backing up at home. It’s using version 2.31.149 - has just been factory reset. I can’t seem to update the firmware.

I have 2.41.116 and 2.42.115 bins - have tried updating using both of these files through settings/firmware update/manual update; it cycles through ‘downloading’, but then fails as soon as it gets to updating. So - no hope of updating to OS5.

Is anyone aware of this problem, or any potential work arounds?

Support doesn’t seem to be working. I keep getting this message: Warning

There was a problem with the request and the action could not be completed."
