Although my device is listed as compatible with OS 5, I cannot download firmware version 2.41.121. I get an error message saying it is incompatible with my device.
The Dashboard above says that my device is running firmware 5.18.117 - has OS 5 downloaded automatically?
What do I do next?
That’s OS5.
Uh your screen capture shows you ARE ALREADY running OS5. The latest OS5 firmware for your device is 5.18.117 (11/1/2021). Which you are already running.
I guess they could add in the UI in that box

Thank you for responding to my query.
I was unsure and I couldn’t find anything on the website or in the FAQ’s to help me. It doesn’t help that I keep getting an email every few days from WD telling me how long I have before i have to update to OS 5.
Thank you for clarifying what I thought I knew, but couldn’t confirm.
You must have had “Automatic Firmware Update” on.
