Did the new software update, now I can't access my mybook

OK so I downloaded and updated earlier for the MyBook. Now when I rebooted it I can’t access the MYBOOK at all.  I click on the icon to pull up the password prompt and nothing happens. I’ve tried a few other things like safely removing it from the computer, unplugging everything to it. Turn off the computer for a few minutes and then plug everything back in and it’s still not working at all. Plus it now says that 0% of my drive is used as well as being locked and the prompt for the password hasn’t come up. Help! This is the first time I’ve ever had a problem. I’m running windows XP professional if that makes any difference. Thanks

I have just had the exact same thing happen to me. Did the softwre update and now doesn’t appear or even get to the unlock. All I’ve got are flshing lights on the darn thing. I’m using Vista - again if it makes any difference…
