I purchased a 16tb, form an o/seas site and found the device to be a little more noisey than I expected.
Not wanting to be caught out down the track and forced into a warranty claim, is there some diagnostic software available for the device and its processes/parts, and the drives (software that can cope with 8TB drives)?

You can use the WD DLG Tool to test the drives on the unit.
