Device 'Inactive' in router config

I’m no longer able to connect to my device or even see it as active in my network’s router config (

I tried to test connectivity in the router config and 4/4 packets sent failed.

The device is ‘green’ when I go to and sign in but when I try to view the shares it can’t find it.

I’ve tried unplugging the device and resetting it with the pinhole but it does not reappear anywhere. I can tell that it’s not as simple as mapping the drive again because when trying that my computer can’t find the device to connect to it.

What else can I try?


Just for troubleshooting purposes try plugging the drive directly to your computer, Make sure the drive is plugged in directly to a wall outlet and if possible try another Ethernet cable.
