"Device Driver was not successfully installed"

I just purchased a WD My Book Essential 3TB External.

I plugged it into my notebook running Win7 64 and I got this message…

“Device Driver was not successfully installed”

I can see the drive showing up as "My Book (D:) 

I can drag and drop a movie file onto the drive and play it no problems, but that error message has me concerned.

What should I do?

Go into device manager find the drive and delete the driver. Shutdown PC remove drive then reboot and reconnect the drive that should load a new driver.
