I understand that WD My Passport Wireless Pro uses an operating system based on Linux (I think it might be the Linaro distribution). This in theory should make it possible to port or write software for it, to extend it with new features.
Has anyone here tried that? How did you make it happen? (SSH into the device, set up a development area and download a tool-set, or, worked on your desktop/laptop and cross-compiled for it?)
