My backup file is getting very large. I have set to backup up 5 prior versions and I’ve reorganized my hard drive so I now have lots of unneccesary files in my backup. I want to delete the existing backup and then create a fresh new backup. I know how to delete the existing backup using the dashboard for my My Book Live. After doing that, is there anything special I need to do to create a fresh backup of the files currently on my computer (and then of course continue to backup any changed files). Thanks, Mike
Nope, you’re doing the right thing. Skynet (Smartware) will create the new backup just as it has the time to do it, just make sure to change the option to the number of files you want before it starts.
