Deleted user that still has an access to the cloud

I deleted the user account and user access to the cloud. He is no longer in the user list but it appears that he can still log in and has access to the cloud. It is simply inconceivable that such a possibility exists. How is this possible and how can it be eliminated?

@Maks2000
Have you shut down and restarted the My Cloud since removing the person?

My Cloud OS 5 Online User Manual (wdc.com)

I agree - - → Try rebooting.

I looked at the manual - - → It does not suggest that rebooting is required.

If rebooting actually is required; I agree that would be a SIGNIFICANT software flaw.

Do you mean switching the device off and on? When I’ve done this, I find that I can’t log into a deleted account, but when I create it again, the user automatically gets access to all the shares they had before, even if the admin didn’t give them access. It happens even when the user don’t have cloud access.

Look at my answer to cat0w

The single bay WDMYCLOUD doesn’t have an on/off switch. What WD device do you have?

I shut mine down, unplug the power, wait a minute, and then plug it back in.

I meant the same thing, i.e. unplugging.

You said,

Unless you can show that the person still has access to the cloud then we are wasting a lot of time.

He has access, I know because I checked it.
