I was trying to dissable the password protection on my book essential and I think i might have deleted the software, all my data is in tact. I found a folder called "virtual CD manager on my desktop (how that wound up there I have no idea) that had virtualcdmanager.exe in it I copied that into my book essential tried to run it but it says your wd smartware drive is in use. please close all open applications, with the exceprion of WD SmartWare, and try again.
Can somebody help please, how can I re-enable the password feature?
