Damaged motherboard on WD Elements Play 1tb

Warranty isn’t valid anymore. 
When I plug in charged into WD, the blue light turns on, but cooler (ventilator) isn’t spinning. And then I plug it into computer, using mini-usb - and the blue light turns off, there is nothing showing on computer etc. When I try the same with TV, it isn’t working too.

I think I need a new motherboard. Is there any way/place to buy just motherboard?

Hey,

Since warranty is already voided, you might need to take the unit to a electronic store to see if they can test the components of the media player

not sure where you’d find that. I would look on ebay by part number on the board
