Customer satisfaction hmmm

Did some cleaning up and found my mypassport wireless. I bought it 10 month ago but I did not make it work. (Still have the reciept.) But now I thoght I would give it a try.
Same problem as many others. blinking red leds. None of the methods from support pages and from this community works.
So I register my mypassport to claim the warranty which I thought was a year. But now I get the message that the warranty expired February 2014. That is almost one and a half year before I bought it.

Thats really odd. Anyone else having this experience?

Had a nice talk to WD support and found out that the warranty has been transfered to the retailer. In some cases som retailers are so big so it is more convenient to let them handle the warranty.

Lets have a try with ElGiganten (the retailer).
