Creation of a MyCloud account

Is it possible to create a MyCloud account, without a WDMyCloud device. It wants to link it to a WD Device. Which would be great if it could see it.

So is it possible to creat a MyCloud account without a MyCloud device.

Please be informed that you will need a My Cloud device in order to create a My Cloud account.

I have a WDMyCloud device. Despite being able to browse to its dashboard I can not map to it over the network. Which also seems to mean that I can not create a MyCloud account. Hence the question. Is there a way to create a MyCloud account. Without associating a WDMyCloud device. Can I do that at a later date !?
