Connection is failing when I connect my Passport

Start one week ago. When I connect my passport to my PC or Laptop, the connection do not start. I must move the cable to start the connection and some times conection is loose if I move the cable accidently.

Could this be a cable problem> or a connector problem in the Passport?

How I can fix it?

Thanks for support team. I publish my claim and I receive a email from support desk saying that USB cable is the problem. Now I am waiting for a new cable.
