trying to connect to a very old Mitsubishi rear projection TV without hdmi to my WD TV Live Plus and MyBook

I can get the WD logo to float across the screen but cannot access anything else.  I do not have the remote.  Is my problem lack of a remote and if so where can I buy a replacement and if not, is it possible to use this device on such an old TV?

Well, yeah, you’re going to need a remote! :laughing:

You can order a replacement fromt he WD Store, eBay, or any number of places.

You can connect the Live Plus via Composite (Yellow) or Component (R/G/B) cables.

my hookup is with the red, yellow and white cables on aux 3 which is how I get the screensaver.  I’ll try and find a remote but I am in a small town and not sure of my success.  Thank you,
