Connecting a raid system to the Ex4

Hi,

I am using a small icybox raid-system for backups. It can handle to disks which are in the jbod mode, so they appear as two seperate disks connected to my laptop. My problem is, if I connect them to the Ex4 only one of the two disks is shown as usb storage. 

Do you have any experiance with connecting more than one harddrive to the ex4?

USB hubs allow for up to 7 disk drives to be connected, but a RAID enclosure behaves differently. It is possible for the unit not to allow a “clean” connection without a dedicated system driver.
