Connected to my cloud via ethernet on mac

Does this sound familiar:

WD Sync cannot connect WD Cloud drive

Hi, I have tried to connect the cloud drive in WD Sync but failed to do so. When I configure the WD storage device in WD Sync it could see the storage device OK. I also sign in to mycloud OK without any issues. However when I select the device and going to proceed to the next step, it shows the message ‘please wait’ and it seems to do nothing. I could not proceed to the next steps. Could anyone shed some lights on what to do next? Thanks
