Configure Files on Windows 8.1 for the WD Passport Ultra to block or prevent anyone deleting files without using a backup system on the WD Passport Ultra. For example I have a folder of data files that are irreplaceable and took a VERY long time to create. is there any way to configure folders and files on Windows 8.1 to block anyone from accidentally deleting them?

If you put a password on your drive no one will be able to delete it by mistake. However, I always recommend having all the important data in more than one place.
