Configuration utility can't find new G-Raid USB 16Tb

I have a new G-Raid USB 16Tb and the G-Tech configuration utility (fresh install) can’t find it. Windows 7 found it, and shows correct information. I want to change the drive to RAID-1 and format in NTFS. I tried USB 3 and USB 2. The utility seems to search forever…

I have an older G-Tech unit (G-RAID 12Tb) that I had to switch to the eSata interface to get the utility to find it. But…the new unit only has USB, so trying that isn’t an option.

Help?

Nevermind…I got it to work by removing all the other external drives, by un-plugging, from the system.

Several years later, I have an unused, new-in-box (no CD), G RAID USB 12TB.

I need to convert it to RAID 1; but, the available utility is only for Thunderbolt, and this unit does not support that.

Do you have the USB-only utility that you can share?

Support says they will not provide that.

Thank you.
