Compatibility - My Book and Mac OS 10.9.5?

I have a My Book 3TB, model WDBACWOO30HBK-NESN, that I have not yet used as it was packed for a move. I have a MacBook Pro running 10.9.5 (Mavericks). Is this external drive compatible with my computer?
