Command line to put drive to sleep? (Sleep Commands)

I like to disconnect my WD externals only after they have gone to sleep because disconnect using “C:\Program Files\Western Digital\WD Utilities\WDDriveUtilities.exe” eject function doesn’t always result in ejection of the drive–often Windows locks handles and won’t let go.

So, I can set the drive to go to sleep but the lowest value available is 10 minutes.

Can I set a shorter sleep period using a command line switch for WDDriveUtilities.exe? Is there a native Windows executable that I can use to invoke sleep in a WD MyPassport external drive?

Is there a place in a *.ini or reg hive where I can enter a value lower than the pre-programmed 10 minute lower limit of WDDriveUtilities.exe?

Thanks.
