So the mini usb off my original WD Mybook elite enclosure has broke off the main board. my HD is locked, I tried putting it into another enclosure, or plugging it directly to my pc via SATA. And i cant access the drive, and i cannot install the drivers either. ( Firmware, Virtual CD ) and the smartware shows the drive letter but i acnt unlock it or do anything. Is this because the PC needs to detect it as a WD Mybook for the drivers to install?
