I installed a new mother board and am having trouble finding the SATA drive with a fresh install of vista on a master test drive.
I can see it in bios and Device manager and computer management but it has a yellow triangle next to it.
I hooked up an old drive with vista on the MB and the sata drive showed up. The problem is I need to wipe that drive and start from scratch but I do not want to do that until I find out how to make the sata drive appear. So at least I know that it still works. Something must be missing. I cant’ find that it needs drivers. It’s a western digital WD10EACS 1 tb sata II.
any ne seen this before.
