Can't read the hard disk

Hello I am having a problem of unable to mount drive on to Mac OR Windows PC. I kept getting error can’t read the drive. Here is the error I get for Mac

And here is the error I get for Windows

If I try to open with windows it asks me to format it but I don’t want to do that. There are some important data that I need recover. Is there any way to get those file without formatting drive?

When you connect an external hard drive on Mac, it will show up on Desktop, Finder, and Disk Utility. But sometimes the external drive won’t appear on any of these places. To fix the issue, you can try the below methods:

  1. Change MacOS settings
  2. Reset Mac firmware settings
  3. Fix external hard drive connectivity issue
  4. Troubleshoot external hard drive
  5. Recover data from non-mounting external mac hard drive using reliable data recovery software
