Can't delete backup file

Question:

I just bought my Western Digital Essential Notebook. I recently made a backup. I never made a backup on my computer up until now. I just wanted to see the whole process. To my amaze, it wasn’t anything facinating, but anyway, I deleted it, but some of the files will not delete. This is what it says:

Cannot delete msxpsdrv.cat: Access is denied

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use.

How do I delete this file?

It sounds like the file is in use by something. Try shutting down any programs (including your backup software) and try again. If the issue persists reset your system and try again. If the issue continues to occur call tech support.
