Can't connect to EX4 after software update

My EX4 has been working perfectly for years. I recently updated the firmware to 2.12.144 and now I cannot connect from Mac or PC.

I am able to PING the device from a command prompt.
I removed all mapped drives and attempted to recreate mappings. Mac and PC can’t find it.
When using web-browser to access it (via IP address), I am able to log in to the dashboard for a very short period of time. The dashboard is extremely slow/unresponsive, and takes 1-2 minutes to completely load on the web page. Moments later, I get the “login timeout” failure, and I am logged out. After this, I will no longer be able to access the drive from a web browser, but can still PING it successfully. The only way to access the drive (dashboard) again is to reboot the EX4. Once I reboot it, I can log into the dashboard ONCE, and then the exact same thing happens. I have repeated this a dozen times. I spent 90 minutes on the phone with WD tech support. It was worthless. We went over the 4-second and 40-second reboot process. Neither worked.

Any help?
