Cant conecet Galaxy S5

Hi

Been trying to find an answer to this all over the net. I have 2 WD Media, a series 1 and 3 and neither will let my phone conect to them. The WD sees them but then says their is no media, or it just does not see them at all. Doesnt matter if I have USB debugging switched on or not. Surely phones can connect to these things or there is patch to alow this.

Seriously WD Its been 4 days since I emailed your tech service, are you all telling me that a media player CANT connect to a phone which is the biggest supplier of media on the plannet?

As this is not supported on this device, I’m not sure if this is possible.
