I have never set a password for “My Passport”, and the computer that I usually use just connects it automatically (without entering password, just double-clicking the “WD Drive Unlock.exe”)
Furthermore, whenever I try connecting my passport to another computer, it asks for password (which I NEVER entered!).
Recently my computer is having troubles (BSOD in startup or after a few minutes of work), and I want to reinstall it’s OS. I’m afraid that now the passport won’t be opened ANYWHERE!
I tried to set a password, so i could use it in another computer. I used WDSecurity.exe utility, I even reinstalled it, but it ASKS ME AGAIN FOR PASSWORD, which I didn’t enter at anytime.
Can you help me? I just want to be able to open the Passport in another PC than my usual one.
