Cannot login to downloader tool

If I got to configure I am unable to login to the Downloader tool. I can login to the Network Storage Manager and the Copy Manager. But when I try with the same Adminstrator name and password in to the Downloader tool I get:

User name and password entered is not correct. Please re-enter.

Since there’s been no replies, maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

The Network Storage Manager and the Copy Manager can use the same credentials but the downloader tool uses different authentication. I had the same issue till I RTFM:smileyvery-happy:

I was reading that in the documentation before, but the Dutch translation in my opinion was not very clear.

Now I see it as I need to use “downloader” for admin name as well as for password. Well, it didn’t work.

Strange thing is that I changed the pasword in the “Network Storage Manager” for user “admin”. But now it seems this is also the pasword for “downloader”. Very confusing.

But anyway, I’m in. Thanks.
