Cannot create internal backup job

My Cloud OS 3 Personal & Network Attached Storage My Cloud EX2

Firmware 2.11.142.

Backups → Internal Backups → Create Job → Enter Job Name → Use Browse buttons to select both a Source and Destination → Click Ok. No job gets created. No errors. How can I troubleshoot this?

The REST call could be failing to complete for some reason

  • High CPU and or Memory Usage
  • Crawler keeping the database busy?
  • DNLA indexing?
  • High System Load
  • Corrupted xml file or xml file cannot be created for some reason

If you’re comfortable with SSH, run top and check CPU, Mem and Average Load.
