Cancel USB copy?

I’m setting up a new My Cloud Home, and am making a backup of a USB drive onto it, plugged directly into the My Cloud Home’s USB port.

The copy is sloooow, at current rate it’s going to take a week or more to complete. I don’t actually need the whole drive backed up, so I want to cancel the copy, and select specific directories to copy instead.

I can’t see any option in the mobile app to cancel the copy (there is no useful progress update at all). Is this actually possible?

There is no way to cancel the ongoing USB operation in the My Cloud Home device or choose the specific files to backup from the USB to My Cloud Home drive.
