Not as things sit with the Hub as is, but there are external programs that can serve stuff to the Hub for display on the TV.  Many are for mobile devices, (e.g. Twonky Beam) and I think a program called PlayOn can stream stuff from PC to the Hub for viewing on TV.  PlayOn users can assist to clarify this.

As for just browsing the web with the Hub – nope.

There is a web browser on the hub albeit limited.

Settings / about / search button.

Use USB keyboard / mouse and hit home button to exit.
