Can not write to USB Flash Drive

I am trying to download movies from Cinemanow to an attached USB Flash drive and am unable. Tried two different drives.  Also, browsing through Windows I am alson unable to write to the attached drive.  They are recognized by the device, but can not write

Are they NTFS format?

I think I figured out the problem. CinemaNow requires you to create a folder first, before downloading. You can’t DL into the Root of the drive.  Silly
