Can I restrict Public Share folder to read only on IOS?

I’ve moved my itunes library to my WD MyCloud Public folder but would like to restrict access on the iphone to read only so that me or my wife can’t accidently delete it!

I have not tried it but you should be able to, see Changing Public share

In that case, how easy would it be to move the itunes library from the Public share to a private share in my own name?

create the new share from the console: http://mycloud/ui

In Windows open 2 files explorer windows, 1 to each share, select the files then right click and cut then in the new share right click past. I can’t help if on Mac but I assume it is similier.
