Cable connection for WD Elements

Dear all,

I have a WD Elements external drive (WDBAAU0020HBK) which has a issue. Now I have taken it apart and (s. Image) have know seen it needs an SATA cable (my guess) to be able to connect to and run my recovery software on it.

Can you let me know which cable/adapter is needed here?

Thank you for any help.

Literally any 3rd Party USB Enclosure which supports SATA which do the job.

The only the to look out for when buying a USB Enclosure is the Capacity Supported (all will support at minimum 2TB Drives) and for 3.5" SATA Drives you need an AC Powered USB Enclosure.

2.5" drives don’t require external power … so, you could use a simple USB SATA Adaptor.
