Hello
I have just purchased a My Book Essential Edition 1TB external harddrive. Today when I went to plug it in the hard drive it attempted to rotate and then failed and did not start. I am wondering if anyone has any potential fixes (I have an engineering background but am not at all a guru with electronics) or the recourse that I should take in order to get it fixed. I ordered it off amazon.com and have no warranty with the seller. It is an older edition of the My Book (formatted FAT32).
