Hi, just paid the premium price for a My Passport Pro Wireless and began backing up media only to have the drive disconnect over FTP and all the lights begin blinking. Less than a day old. Is this drive a dud or am I missing something?
Can you access your unit through means other than FTP? Can you access the unit’s Dashboard admin page? Does it work over USB?
Yes, I can access it over USB. The dashboard and FTP seem to work for a period of time, then all LEDs light up and I have to restart the drive to access it over my network.
I’ve tried restoring to factory settings through the dashboard and via the hard method. We’ll see if that resolves the issue.
