Blank wd my passport essential se external hard drive

     I accidentally wiped my passport external hard drive while trying to update the software, firmware and drivers for this external hard drive…  How do I go about recovering the original software, firmware and drivers that were on the external hard drive?

     

     Any and all ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Try searching for data recovery software Recuva is one. Others let you try and recover a small amount before buying.
