My external hard driver is 1TB and it is refusing to be formatted, I have tried using data lifeguard it did not work and I have tried wd quick format still nothing helping. when using data lifeguard it says too much bad sectors error, error ,error so please help me out guys please.
Have you try writing zeroes to your unit? If not, I guess you will need to do that…
Otherwise replacing the drive is your only option…
