Best way to transfer data

Hi, I have a slight issue with my pr2100 NAS drive where one drive (mistakenly in a raid 0 format) keeps red lighting. Although it works, I need to transfer the data to a new drive.

So far, I have purchased two new HDDs with enough capacity to move to raid 1 format. I just cannot work a logic to format the drives to raid 1 then transfer the data to the new drives

Ideas welcomed.
Thanks!

Raid 0 and you are getting error message?

YIKES. All data is at risk.

The logic for transfer is brutal and simple: You must transfer all data to an external device first. No way around this.

Once you have the data backed up; you can muck around with the NAS. Any change to raid mode (i.e. flip from Raid 0 to Raid 1) will wipe the drives. Replacing either drive in a raid 0 system will result in a data wipe as it initializes the new raid 0.

Thanks, I thought this would be the case just wanted to see if there was a way to get around not buying another harddrive. Now just need to hope it survives the transfer :see_no_evil:
