Backup Win10 PC to nas MyCloudEX2

I have a home network that I recently added a Win10 PC to, and I just added a WDMyCloudEX2 nas. I would like to backup the Win10 PC to the WDMyCloudEX2. What is the best backup software to use? The WD manual says that I can use the Windows backup software or the WD Smartware. Which does the community recommend?

(I’ve observed quite a bit of negative comments about the WD Smartware. Hence, that is why I am asking the above question.)

Windows 10 offers build-in backup up to bare-metal-backup and file history backup. I am using this method on my private PCs.
