Backup Will not Finish

I continue to get the message, “Your last backup did not complete.” (From the Windows backup software.) I can start it again, and it will proceed for a short time. Assuming I don’t run out of patience it may complete someday. I have my wife’s MacBook Air backed uip to the same drive, and it finished pretty close to flawlessly.

I’ve never been a big Windows Backup fan, but that seems the default backup package for the WD MyCloud Home (which was purchased to replace a failing WD MyCloud. Will the newer drive function with the WD SmartWare backup software?

WD Smartware does not support the My Cloud Home.
