I started another thread here about how slow the backup process was.
I’m seeing some behavior that contributes to the slowness. When I go to the backup icon, the little window opens and says files pending backup, or backup in process with no 0% cpu usage shown. When I open the software, it first says “idle”, then starts backing up again.
Is there some way to get the software to stop sitting around and do what it is supposed to do. It has taken all of 20 hours to back up only 6.5 GB so far, this on a spanking new i7 Windows 7 64-bit PC which is very fast for everything else (yes, I did download the latest version of the backup software.)
