Backup & retrieve from My Passport

Hi, I’m new and I needed help, please

Even after downloading the latest WD SmartWare, I could  NOT execute the Backup & Retrieve buttons (dimmed).  The rest of the buttons are executable. At Home, it shows the files/folders but I cannot retrieve any one of them.

Please help me. 10Q

hi there, if that happened after the update then most likely the drive needs to be refreshed, what if you restart the computer, disconnect the drive and plug it back in?
