Backup of my WD TV Hub though a external drive?

I have a WD 1 tb USB external drive, and I wan’t to use it as at backup drive for my WD TV Hub if the drive in my Hub should crash.

I would also like to have all my movies on the external, so I can take the movies with me anywhere I go.

How do I do that?

Hi there, I’d do it by connecting the USB drive to your computer and then just copy and paste the files from the Hub to the USB drive.

You can also use the sync function.

Hi,

Try to connect you external drive to the hub via USB. Find the folder to move to the drive. Press options on you remote and choose copy. Follow the steps to find your drive.

It worked, but was slow.
