I had help getting Acronis WD software to recognize my backups. That has been fixed. When I launch the Acronis software, it see my backups. When I boot up with my Rescue Builder CD, the boot works fine. I select Restore but it doesn’t see my backups on the WD drive. Any suggestions? I did have to reload the Acronis software but did not create a new Restore Builder disc. Could that be the solution?
If the software can see the backup files after the system boots but it’s unable to do so in recovery mode then your external hard drive is not being powered by the system. You may need a different external hard drive.
Thanks for your response. The Recovery software sees the drive but can’t find the backup files.
