I got me a WD my book live (2 TB). I can use SmartWave backup, but I don’t because it excludes .exe,.vb, etc. Can backup anywhere and where can I get a key?
WD Anywhere backup is onlty supported on older drives, the My Book Live supports Windows Backup , Smartware or Time Machine backup’s if you have a Mac.
Hi there, you CAN use the Anywhere Backup on the MBL, but you’ll need an older drive that comes with it just to get the license.
You can also try Memeo Autobackup, which is the “father” of WDAB (and it works with ANY NAS).
