I have just reinstalled windows 10. The Mycloud is setup for continuous backup of this computer. The problem is that after reistall, Smartware is considering this compluter as a completely new computer now, and starting the whole backup from scratch.
Is there any way that smartware can point this computer to the existing backup, so that it backups only the additional files, and not start the complete backup process from scratch?
If WD SmartWare is treating your computer as a new one then something changed. Either the computer’s name (Check your system properties) or the User account is different.
