The first time I backed up my HD on My Passport Essentials 3.0 1T is worked. Since then it only partially backs up my HD and I get a message “Windows- Delayed Write Failed Windows unable to save all the data for the file F:$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer harware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.”
I checked the connectivity and it seems fine. I ran a diagnostic on my HD and seems fine. My software won’t let me run the WD diagnostic on My Passport. Now, although My Passport shows up on “my computer” I have trouble accessing it. I am operating under Window XP Professional. Please help.
