Can I set my 2 TB MBL to also back up my USB Thumbdrives? I am using the Smartware that comes with the drive. I don’t see my USB Thumbdrive drive listed in the Smartware anywhere. Do I have something set up wrong? I was hoping I could use this drive to continuously back up all my drives, including my USB drives.
Smartware won’t copy files from external USB drives, the MBL CAN do it, but you’ll need another backup program other than Smartware. Smartware only works with your main drive, a few times it lets you select your other internal drives but it skips externals.
